"I actually started to see results…immediately. They were small, but they were wins!
It was hard, really hard. My body and mind were not used to doing what I was asking them to do. I had an athletic background playing sports but I had let myself slip.
As I was nearing the last week of the challenge and I knew I wanted more of this…
That’s when I made a call telling Jeff Later I was ready for my personalized nutrition plan.
I wanted to make a change for me personally, and I felt long-lasting health would make my relationships with my kids, wife, and future grandkids more meaningful.
Even though everyone’s timetable is different, I would see my progress really speed up when I had long-term, consistent focus on my workouts, nutrition, and mental state.
When you shift your mindset to making your goals more important than the excuses, a shift happens, and it happened for me.
Nobody else could have done it for me. The decision was mine and there is power in choice.
I’m not a bodybuilder! I’m just a normal guy that wasn’t happy with my direction in fitness and opted for a change.
Great people make you do and see great things in yourself that you didn’t believe existed. And then they help you get there!
So what does success look like now?
Always progressing. Doesn’t matter how…doesn’t matter what the next goal is, just keep going. One more rep, one more hill, one more gallon of water! ;)
We’re never done!
So here’s my advice for anyone that is looking to change and doesn’t quite know how to start:
It truly starts when you make up your mind to commit to a new you. Do it for you and your ‘WHY’. Be real and be specific about what YOU WANT. Then live like your goals mean more than the excuses. Nobody can do this for you, and nobody will feel more amazing than you do for what you can accomplish."
